Who am I?

I am creative, purpose-driven, loving and perseverant. I have two beautiful miniature schnauzers, an amazing husband and I'm a child of God.

I work as an Occupational Therapist in the psychiatric field. I am also passionate about dog agility. I grew up in Cape Town, but currently, live in Johannesburg and yes I miss the ocean. I also have two autoimmune diseases, Myasthenia Gravis, and hypothyroidism.

These two thorns in my side have affected me, my family, my health, and my daily life. I started writing this blog in February 2016 and dedicated it to everyday triumphs. Through it, I hoped to inspire those who walk a similar road to me. The response so far has been positive and overwhelming. It keeps me motivated to want to write more, so please leave a comment or send me an email if this has touched your life.

Please that I am not a professional writer and write this blog from personal experiences.
Please consult with your treating Doctor if you consider trying any techniques or therapies mentioned on this blog.
